Emma Colson
Emma Colson, 93, of Washington, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Washington County Hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Elwin Colson and the Rev. Rene Colson Hudson officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16. Visitation will begin after noon Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the funeral home, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 that evening. Memorial contributions may be made to for the Faith Baptist Church in Washington or to Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Waterloo.
