Enid Arlene Brown

      Enid Arlene Brown, 87, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Halcyon House in Washington, Iowa.

      A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. The body will be cremated.

      Family visitation will be 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made to the Halcyon House-Good Samaritan Fund. Cards and memorials may be sent to 520 W. Tyler St., Washington 52353.

      Mrs. Brown was born July 22, 1919, in Afton, the daughter of Edwin and Tabitha Justice Ames. She married Earl W. Brown Nov. 18, 1945, in Afton. He died in January 2005.
