Eric D. Ekle August 30, 1962 - October 6, 2005

      Eric David Ekle, 43, of Farmington, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005 at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Farmington United Methodist Church in Farmington with Rev. Paul Rekward officiating. His body will be cremated following the service with burial at a later date at the Croton Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. with family present from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Farmington. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Farmington United Methodist Church and the Ekle Children.

      Survivors include: his wife; parents; one brother, Mark and his wife Audrey Ekle of Farmington; two daughters: Jackie and Erin Ekle at home, and one son, Dean Ekle at home.

       He was preceded in death by one brother: Robby Ekle and his grandparents.
