Eric Matthew Miller, 27,

of Ainsworth, Iowa, died Thursday, April 16, 2020, at his residence. Because of state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time. Celebration of Life services and interment will be held at a later date. Memorials have been established for Eric's children. Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Eric was born April 6, 1993, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, the son of Paul and Brenda (Lasek) Miller. He graduated from Highland High School in 2011. Eric was united in marriage to Kim Powers on May 13, 2016, at Marr Park.

Eric was employed as a dump truck driver for Dickinson Inc. He previously worked at Doors Inc. in Iowa City and Greiners Landscaping. He enjoyed the outdoors where he was often found hunting, fishing, snow mobiling and four wheeling. Eric loved raising dogs and pet fish. His greatest love was spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Miller of Mount Pleasant; three children, Jaxon, Asher and Rylie Miller; parents, Paul and Brenda Miller of Ainsworth; sister, Andrea Van Hoang and husband Tory of North Liberty; sister, Ashley Miller and fiance Brandon Vedquam of Lone Tree; sister, Brittany Stumpf and husband Paul of Ainsworth; nieces and nephews: Aria, Carter and Bob; grandparents, Paul and Patricia Miller of Boone, Larry Lasek of Washington, Iowa, and Lucy Lasek of Ainsworth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Eric was preceded in death by his uncle, Patrick Miller; aunt, Jessica Miller; and cousin, Trevor Lasek.
