Erma Maxine Alliman

Erma Maxine Alliman, 84, of Wayland, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospital. Funeral Services have been set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Independent Bible Church in Wayland. Burial will be at the Cottonwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting memorial gifts be directed to the children's ministries at the Independent Bible Church.

Erma was born April 8, 1933 in Henry County, Iowa, the daughter of Homer Oscar and Addie Florence (Neff) Davison. She graduated from Wayland High School in 1951 and was united in marriage to Duane Henry Alliman on July 3, 1951 in Key West, Fla.

Survivors include two daughters, Adelee (Michael) Drake of Florence, Colo. and Julia (Timothy) Barta of Hiawatha, Iowa; two sons, Douglas (Julie) Alliman of Wichita, Kan. and Randall (Kay) Alliman of Biggsville, Ill.; seven grandsons; one granddaughter; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Davison of Kalona, Iowa; sisters, Allie Guengerich of Harrisburg, Va. and Phyllis Graber of Wayland.
