Erma Vivian Johnston

DOUDS ? Erma Vivian Johnston, 93, of Fairfield, formerly of Libertyville, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Sunnybrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.  Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.  A general memorial fund has been established.

    Mrs. Johnston was born Feb. 18, 1916, north of Stockport in Jefferson County, to Edgar Lealdes and Edith Harriett (Crenshaw) Philips.  She married Mark E. Johnston on Sept. 20, 1933, in Fairfield.
