Erna Lee Reid was born Jan. 10, 1946, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Lucille (Hartman) Meyer. She graduated from Columbus Junction High School. She enjoyed singing, performing, her family, grandchildren and being retired.

Erna passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at her daughters home in Williamsburg at the age of 74.

She is survived by three children, Michelle Derrig of Williamsburg, Deanna Achor of Fort Mohave, Ariz., and Tim Prior of Franklin Grove, Ill.; four stepchildren, Chris Reid, Brenda Mellecker, Anita McKillip and David Reid; 30 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; a sister, Shelby Morrison; and a brother, Ron Meyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Reid; and a sister, Pat Johnson.
