Ernest F. Steffensmeier
Ernest F. Steffensmeier, 83, of Houghton, died Friday, July 6, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at St. John's Catholic Church in Houghton, where the rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. There will be a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at the church, with the Rev. Gary Beckman officiating. Burial will be at the St. John's Cemetery in Houghton. Memorials are for St. John's Catholic Church or for the Henry County Health Center Foundation. Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison is in charge of arrangements.
