Ernestine D. Kiesey

Ernestine D. Kiesey, 92, of Washington, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at Washington Hospital following a brief illness.

      The funeral service was yesterday at West Chester United Methodist Church in West Chester, with Pastor Marlene Janssen officiating. Memorials have been established to West Chester United Methodist Church and Halcyon House. On-line condolences may be left at www.jonesfh.com.

Survivors include two sons, Doug Kiesey of Atlanta, Ga., and Brad and his wife Deb Kiesey of Washington; and a daughter, Suzy Haars and a friend Dennis Sheridan of Cedar Rapids; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles "Buck" Murdock, in 1989.
