Ernestine McVey
Ernestine McVey, 88, of Winfield, died Wednesday, May 28, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with the Rev. Greg Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Winfield First Responders.
She was born Dec. 26, 1919, in Bonaparte, the daughter of Ernest and Chloe Yarnall Blair. On Sept. 28, 1940, she married Kenneth McVey.
