Errett C. Logan

Errette C. Logan, 93, a resident of the Kensington in Fort Madison, formerly of Donnellson, died at 7:40 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at Fort Madison Community Hospital.

      The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 12 at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson. Burial will be in the Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson. Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established to Donnellson Public Library.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dwayne and his wife Lila Logan of Fort Madison, and Dean Logan of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Yvonne and her husband Aaron Glidewell of Fort Madison; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
