Esther Anna Ropp

      KALONA - Esther Anna Ropp, 88, of Kalona died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona from cancer.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 in the Sunnyside Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. John King, the Rev. Floyd Helmuth and the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in the church, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Sunnyside Mennonite Church or Pleasantview Home. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home of Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.

      Miss Ropp was born June 22, 1918 near Kalona, the daughter of Lewis and Magdalena (Hershberger) Ropp.
