Esther Ellen Beachy
KALONA - Esther Ellen Beachy, 88, of Kalona, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, in the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. Floyd Helmuth, the Rev. Floyd Yutzy, and the Rev. David Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the church. Memorials may be made to the Pleasantview Home. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Beachy was born May 27, 1919, in Sherwood, Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Beachy) Beachy.
