Esther Helmuth

      KALONA - Esther Helmuth, 48, of Kalona, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at her home in rural Kalona, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Fairview Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev. John King, the Rev. David L. Yoder, the Rev. Floyd Yutzy and the Rev. Dale Keffer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunnyside Mennonite Church in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at Sunnyside Church and from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Fairview Church. A memorial fund has been established for Sunnyside Mennonite Church and Pathway Christian School. Yoder-Powell Funeral Home of Kalona is handling arrangements.
