Esther Irwin December 16, 1899 - October 2, 2003

      Esther Anna Mary Young Irwin, 103, New London, and formerly of Yarmouth, died at 10:25 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003 at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.

      Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at Elliott Chapel in New London. Rev. Rick Crooks will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mt. Union. Visitation will begin after noon on Sunday, Oct. 5 at the funeral home with family present from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established to Grace United Church in Conesville and New London Nursing and Rehab Center.

      Survivors include a daughter, Jane Crouch of Yarmouth; six grand children, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one daughter, Shirley Bell, and one great-granddaughter.
