Esther 'Joanne' Winter

      Esther "Joanne" Winter, 69, of Fairfield, died Monday, June 4, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Jim Wotherspoon and the Rev. Bill Rathbun officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or the Forest Lake Camp building fund. Cards and memorials may be sent to 804 W. Grimes Ave., Fairfield 52556.

      Ms. Winter was born Feb. 6, 1938, in Fairfield, the daughter of John and Esther Kirkpatrick Winter.
