Esther L. Carlson

Esther L. Carlson, 103, of Burlington, died at 9:20 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2005, at Parkview Care Center.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at Prugh's Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of the service. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include three sons, Richard J. Carlson and Donald J. Carlson, both of Burlington, and John G. Carlson of Danville; two daughters, Mary Rowan and Jean Perry, both of Burlington; 28 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two daughters, three sisters, a son, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
