Esther L. Marner
KALONA - Esther L. Marner, 70, of Kalona, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Don Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Lower Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Wellman. Visitation will continue through this evening at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Kalona First Responders or toward Mennonite Central Committee Relief Kits.
