Esther T. Lennox

      Esther T. Lennox, 82, of rural Douds, died at 2:07 a.m. Sunday, June 30, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa.

      Open visitation begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 13641 Bethel Rock Ave., Douds 52551.

      Mrs. Lennox was born June 3, 1926, in Givin, Mahaska County, the daughter of Alva and Helena Larson Jordan. She married Cecil W. Lennox April 3, 1948, in Oskaloosa. He died Aug. 15, 2006.
