Eston Burghoffer August 1, 1926 - March 20, 2004

Eston Burghoffer, 77, of Donnellson, died at 5:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24 at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Burial will be in Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson. There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated. Memorials have been established to the Gillaspey-Moodie American Legion Post and the Central Lee school's library fund.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jon Burghoffer of Donnellson; and two daughters, Becky Burghoffer of Des Moines and Lori Galle of Montrose.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
