Ethel Margaret Mae Kilgus

      KALONA-Ethel Margaret Mae Kilgus, 89, of Kalona, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a sudden illness.

      Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m., at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be Friday, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Feed the Children of Oklahoma or Pleasantview Home.

      Mrs. Kilgus was born on July 26, 1914, in Des Moines, to Harry and Anna (Tate) Alexander. She married Irving Gingerich on June 30, 1931, in Washington. He preceded her in death in 1969. She married Walter Kilgus on Nov. 18, 1971, in Monroe, Mich.
