Ethel Widmer
Ethel Widmer, 92, of Wayland, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, in the Parkview Home in Wayland following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at the Eicher Mennonite Church in rural Wayland. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Parkview Home in Wayland.
Mrs. Widmer was born March 22, 1917, in rural Washington County, the daughter of Chris E. and Emma (Reschly) Roth. She married Marvin E. Widmer on Aug. 29, 1943.
