Ethyl M. Schoeni
Ethyl M. Schoeni, 96, of Douds, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.
A graveside service was at 3 p.m. today at Leando Cemetery in Douds, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating.
Memorials to Douds First Responders may be mailed to the family at PO Box 8, Douds 52551.
Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
Mrs. Schoeni was born Aug. 11, 1911, in Douds-Leando, the daughter of Daniel S. and Nettie Kerr Plowman. She married Ellsworth W. Schoeni June 9, 1935, at the family home in Douds. He died Sept. 12, 2004.
