Eula Jean Miller

July 16, 1926 - April 30, 2018

Eula Jean Miller, 91, formerly of Kalona, passed away April 30, 2018 at Crestview Specialty Care in West Branch, Iowa, after a battle with dementia.

Funeral services for Eula Jean will be Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with Chaplain Cindi McKee officiating. Burial will follow at the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 3 from 5-7 p.m. at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Paws and More in Washington, Iowa.

Eula Jean (Figgins) Miller was born July 16, 1926 in rural Kalona, the daughter of Jay and Luva (Hartsock) Figgins. On June 4, 1945 she was united in marriage to Sylvanus "Chub" Miller, Jr. in Kalona. To this union was born four sons: Von (Pam) of Iowa City, Max (Carla) of Marrero, La., Tim (Kris) of Bonner Springs, Kan. and Hal (Kathy) of Honey Creek, Iowa.

Eula Jean is survived by her husband of almost 73 years, four children, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
