Euretha Koch
Euretha Dorothy Koch, 87, of Columbus Junction, died following a sudden illness Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, at Colonial Manor Care Center in Columbus Junction.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5 at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Chris Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in Florida Cemetery in Florida Ohio. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Florida, Faith Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant, and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wapello, all of which she was a member. Online condolences may be left to the Koch family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.
Survivors include two daughters, Julie Koch of Cambridge, Wis., and Bonnie and her husband Charlie Snyder of Letts; three sons, William and his wife Linda Koch of San Diego, Calif., the Rev. Robert Koch of Denver, Colo., and David and his wife Barbara Koch of Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; four brothers, Dick and his wife Judy Meyer and Erv and his wife Rea Meyer, all of Indiana, and Otto and his wife Ginny Meyer and Jude and his wife Phyllis Meyer, all of Ohio; two sisters, Meta Walters and Betty and her husband Jim Hoy, all of Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Betty Jane Mansfield of Ohio.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Paul, Robert and Elmer; and a sister, Ruth.
