Eva A. Wolfe
Eva A. Wolfe, 98 of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, at her home.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ted Munson and Dan Munson officiating. Following the service, her body will be cremated; burial will be at Center Chapel Cemetery in Keosauqua at a later date.

She was born Jan. 13, 1910 in Stockport, the daughter of Marion and Hattie Webber Munson. On August 24, 1937, she married Donald E. Wolfe in Keosauqua.
Having attended the University of Minnesota and State University of Iowa, she taught grade school in Stockport, Keosauqua and at Pleasant Lawn. She graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College, and went on to teach English and home economics at Danville and West Burlington Public Schools until her retirement.
She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Daughter of the American Revolution, Henry County Retired Teachers Association, of which she was president from 1976 to 1978, Daughters of the Nile, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and First United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Timon of Santa Fe, N.M.; her brother, Harold Munson and his wife Mary of Lockridge; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband and sisters Grace McTee and Marjorie Linn preceded her in death.
