Eva B. Phillips

      WELLMAN - Eva B. Phillips, 87, of Wellman, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at her daughter's home in Cedar Rapids, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2005, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman, with the Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Memorials have been established for Asbury United Methodist Church, Wellman Senior Center or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mrs. Phillips was born March 23, 1918, in Grundy Center to Ira and Bessie (Wiley) Klinefelter. She married Wendell L. Phillips on June 5, 1940, in Grundy Center.
