Eva E. Garrett

      Eva E. Garrett, 92, of Washington, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at the Halcyon House in Washington after failing in health for the past month.

      Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Darryl Carr officiating. Burial will be at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Wayland. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the First Baptist Church in Washington or for Hospice of Washington County.

Mrs. Garrett was born on July 20, 1914, in Wayland, to Henry and Lidie "Nora" (Tucker) NeffShe married Lorel Garrett on Aug. 9, 1935, in Wayland.
