Eva L. Brenneman

      KALONA - Eva L. Brenneman, 88, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a lingering illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, in the Kalona Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. Scott Swartzendruber, the Rev. Mick Murray, and the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the Kalona Mennonite Church, Iowa City Hospice or Pleasantview Home.

      Mrs. Brenneman was born Aug. 11, 1920 in rural Kalona, the daughter of Eli and Esther (Brenneman) Yoder. She married Elwyn Brenneman on June 2, 1940 in the family home in Riverside.
