Evelyn A. Hamilton

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Evelyn A. Hamilton, 94, of Columbus Junction died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 in the Morning Sun Care Center in Morning Sun.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery. After burial a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Morning Sun Care Center.

      Mrs. Hamilton was born Dec. 5, 1911 in West Chester, the daughter of George A. and Theresa (Keifer) Reighard. She married Vernon E. Hobbs in December 1929. He died in April 1947. She later married Herbert Hamilton in June 1965 in Chillicothe, Mo.
