Evelyn Catherine Moberly,

      Evelyn Catherine Moberly, age 102, of Washington died Monday December 18, 2006 at the Washington Care Center in Washington and declining in health for the past several years.

      Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Thursday December 21, 2006 at the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with Father Ed O'Melia officiating. Visitation will be held at the Jones Eden Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm Wednesday and the family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 Thursday morning at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the Riverside Public Cemetery in Riverside. Memorials have been established for the St. James Catholic Church.       Evelyn was born on October 5, 1904 in Riverside, Iowa the daughter of James and Anna (Florang) Kucera. She attended school in Riverside. On June 8, 1923 Evelyn was united in marriage to William O. Moberly in Lone Tree, Iowa. She was a life long resident of Washington County.
