Evelyn Janette Weaver

    WELLMAN ? Evelyn Janette Weaver, 89, of Wellman, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, following a lengthy illness.

    Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at the West Union Cemetery in rural Parnell.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at the West Union Mennonite Church in rural Parnell with the Rev. David Boshart and the Rev. Martha Yoder officiating.  The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church.  A memorial fund has been established for the West Union Mennonite Church.  Powell Funeral Home in Wellman is in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Weaver was born July 28, 1919, in rural Johnson County near Wellman, the daughter of Joseph and Salena (Shetler) Bender.  She married Tillman M. Weaver on Oct. 22, 1939, in Kalona.
