Evelyn Lois McCallister

      Evelyn Lois McCallister, 97, of Washington, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a lengthy illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Keota Cemetery in Keota at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Washington County.

      Mrs. McCallister was born Oct. 1, 1910, in Washington County, the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Blickensderfer) Dunbar. She married Elmer Wade of May 4, 1929. He died in November 1950. She later married Wayne McCallister. He died in October 1978.
