Evelyn Louise Whitten Hensel

      WASHINGTON - Evelyn Louise Whitten Hensel, 70, of Washington, died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at United Presbyterian Home in Washington.

      Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, at United Methodist Church in Washington with the Rev. Julie Poulsen and the Rev. Everett Burham officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery. Visitation began at noon today at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 this evening. Memorials have been established for United Methodist Church and the ALS Association.

      Mrs. Hensel was born Sept. 20, 1934, in Martinsburg to Ralph and Anna (Hayes) Capps. She married Gilbert Whitten on Sept. 20, 1953, in Hedrick. He preceded her in death in 1985. She married M. Clinton Hensel on Jan. 6, 1990 in Fairfield.
