Evelyn Mae Metz
LONE TREE - Evelyn Mae Metz, 72 of Lone Tree, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lone Tree, with the Rev. Ben Okonkwo and Parish Life Coordinator Carol Kaalberg officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree, where a prayer service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.
