Evelyn Owens Traut,
COLUMBUS JUNCTION-Evelyn Owens Traut, 93, of Washington, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at Washington County Hospital and Clinics in Washington.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Burial was in Cambrian Cemetery. Visitation preceded the services today. Memorials may be directed to the United Presbyterian Church in Cotter.
Mrs. Traut was born Dec. 21, 1913, in Gladwin, the daughter of William ("Herbert" and May (McGuire) Swailes. She married Howard T. Owens in 1938 in Cotter. He died in 1983. She married Omar L. Traut on Sept. 14, 1999, in Fairfield.
