Evelyn Quigley
Evelyn Quigley, 97, of Washington died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in the Cambrian Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, with the family present from 6 until 8 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Quigley was born Nov. 30, 1909, near Cotter, to Evan H. and Ruth (Peters) Arthur. She married Jesse D. Quigley on April 9, 1932, at the Rock Island Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death in 1973.
