Everett L. Slaughter, 84, Riverside
RIVERSIDE - Everett L. Slaughter, 84, of Riverside, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at the Washington Care Center in Washington following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services with military rites by the Riverside VFW Post #1259 will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, at 11 a.m. at Memory Garden Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Riverside Fire and First Responders.
