Everett Roy Byerly
MT. PLEASANT-Everett Roy Byerly, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with Dr. Edward Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Salem East Cemetery. Visitation began at noon today, at the funeral home, where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening. Memorials may be directed to Salem East Cemetery.
Mr. Byerly was born on Jan. 18, 1918, near Mediapolis, to Roy and Abbie (Street) Byerly. He married Helen Keller on Feb. 22, 1941, in Mediapolis.
