Everette Lee Howell

COLUMBUS JUNCTION ? Everette Lee Howell, 74, of Columbus Junction, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in Trinity Hospital in Muscatine.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the Letts United Methodist Church in Letts with the Rev. Collette Gould officiating. Burial will be in the Letts Cemetery. Following the committal services there will be a time of food and fellowship at the church. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction, with a Masonic service at 7:15 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the FFA Alumni Scholarship Fund, c/o Katie McWhirter at the Columbus Community Schools, or the Letts United Methodist Church in Letts.

    Mr. Howell was born Oct. 29, 1936, in Washington, the son of Lawrence Elbert Howell and Geneva (Shebeck) Howell. He married Nancy Widigen on July 15, 1961, at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church in Davenport.
