Ezra William Shenk, 95, of Wellman
A celebration of life service for Ezra William Shenk, 95, of Wellman, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the Wellman Mennonite Church with the Rev. Robert Hartzler officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will greet friends from 2 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Heralds of Hope.
Mr. Shenk was born July 10, 1915, near Delphos, Ohio, the son of Abram and Malinda (Good) Shenk. He married Carrie Helena Swartzendruber on Sept. 14, 1941. She preceded him in death. He married Sara Marie Kauffman on Dec. 22, 1979, in Coatesville, Pa.
