F.D. Gipple

Dr. Feryl Duane "Doc" Gipple, 75, of Washington, formerly of Crawfordsville, died Saturday, Dec. 20, at the United Presbyterian Home.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today, Dec. 22, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer and Rev. Harlan Winter officiating. Burial will be at Cambrian Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction.

He was born Oct. 16, 1933 in Louisa County, the son of Feryl and Beula Buffington Gipple. On March 3, 1954, he married Betty Margaret Rees in rural Columbus Junction.
