Fannie Bender
KALONA-Fannie Bender, 100, of Kalona, died Friday, June 10, 2005, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a brief illness.
Funeral services were held this morning at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Elmer Miller and the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial was in Upper Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Wellman. Memorials may be directed to Pleasantview Home.
Miss Bender was born on March 16, 1905, in Johnson County, near Wellman, to Christian and Elizabeth (Guengerich) Bender.
