Faye L. Steele Spilman

      Faye L. Steele Spilman, 76, of rural Douds, died at 5:09 a.m. Wed., Oct. 31, 2007, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

      A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Selma United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Len Garrison officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 11592 150th Road, Douds 52551.

      Mrs. Spilman was born March 8, 1931, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Roma and Marie Stephens White. She married James F. Steele Nov. 13, 1948, in Brazil, Ind. He died Aug. 23, 1988. She married the Rev. Clinton Spilman in 1989. He died in 2000.
