Fern Hartman

COLUMBUS JUNCTION ? Fern Hartman, of Columbus Junction, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, in the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Private family graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 25. A general memorial has been established in Fern?s name. The Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction is handling the arrangements.

Fern Elaine Marie Hartman was born Nov. 20, 2016, in Ames, the daughter of Benjamin Joseph Hartman and Anna Marie Lowe.

She will be remembered by her family and never forgotten.

Surviving are her parents, Ben Hartman and Anna Lowe of Columbus Junction; her grandparents, Mark and Jennifer Lowe of Columbus Junction, and Tom and Sara Hartman of North Liberty; great-grandparents, Gloria Cassabaum of Columbus Junction, and Joe and Carol Hartman of Hiawatha; two uncles; and one aunt.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Eugene Cassabaum, Milford and Virginia Groff, and Harry and Ann Lowe.
