Fern L. Bailey
KALONA - Fern L. Bailey, 94, of Pleasantview Home in Kalona, died Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Pleasantview Home following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 24, in the Kalona United Methodist Church in Kalona with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Burial will be in South Sharon Cemetery in rural Riverside. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the South Sharon (Grout) Cemetery Fund or the Kalona United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bailey was born June 26, 1913, in Kalona, the daughter of John and Minnie (Liebe) Benell. She married Paul Bailey on Aug. 29, 1940 in Kahoka, Mo.
