Ferne Beatrice Carr,
Ferne Beatrice Carr, 88, of Washington, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, in the Halcyon House in Washington following a short illness.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at West Chester Cemetery in West Chester. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
Miss Carr was born April 13, 1922, in Wellman, the daughter of William Wesley and Bernice Lorraine (Stover) Carr.
