Flaurice L. 'Flossie' Whitham

      Flaurice L. "Flossie" Whitham, 86, formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday evening, Nov. 29, 2008, at Ramsey Village in Des Moines.

      A funeral is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

      Friends may call at their convenience to pay their respects.

      Memorials have been established to Hospice of Central Iowa and First United Methodist Church.

      Mrs. Whitham was born Aug. 9, 1922, in Webster, the daughter of Lewis Clarence "Clair" and Hazel Moore Dersch. She married Roll Roy Whitham March 29, 1941, in Fairfield. He died Oct. 31, 1981.
