Florence Bell Augustine

Florence Bell Augustine, 102, of Washington, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital following a short illness.

      A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Keota at a later date. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Home or to a general memorial fund.

      Mrs. Augustine was born Oct. 30, 1905, in Brighton, the daughter of John Wesley and Cordelia May (Lowry) Leeper. She married Rex Rinabarger on July 4, 1928 in Crown Point, Ind. He died April 16, 1936. She married Albert Joseph Augustine on May 26, 1945 in Chicago, Ill. He died Oct. 7, 1990.
