Florence M. Talbott

      Florence M. Talbott, 95, formerly of Birmingham, died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.

      A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Birmingham United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. In accord with Mrs. Talbott's wishes, her body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds.

      Family visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church.

      Memorials to Birmingham United Methodist Church may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 219 W. Jefferson St., Osceola 50213.

      Mrs. Talbott was born Oct. 8, 1912, near Eldon, the daughter of Guy and Mabel Hodson Acton. She married Clarence P. Talbott Dec. 22, 1934, in Batavia. He died Sept. 19, 1975.
